Custom domains

Serve your paid API from a hostname you own. Paid teams can attach one custom domain to each project.

URLs on a custom domain

Once a custom domain is active, clients can use shorter URLs without the project ID.

Set up a domain

  1. Add the hostname

    In Project Settings, enter a hostname you control, such as api.example.com, and save the project.

  2. Create the DNS record

    Create the CNAME record shown in the dashboard with your DNS provider.

  3. Wait for activation

    DNS propagation and certificate issuance can take a few minutes. Use the refresh button in the dashboard to check the status.
