Give agents your discovery document, a starting URL, and clear spend limits so they can find and pay for your API.
What agents need
- The OpenAPI discovery URL for the project.
- The protocols they may use, and whether each is testnet or production.
- A maximum spend per request and per time window.
- Access to a wallet or payment credential for the chosen protocol.
- Retry limits for failed, expired, or declined payments.
For x402 channels, the agent needs a funded wallet and signing code. For MPP channels, the agent’s runtime must understand the MPP challenge and retry with the right Authorization credential.
